DARE to Educate, DARE to Empower

Established in 1991 in Munnar, Kerala, DARE School was founded to educate and empower specially-abled children of plantation workers.

With guidance from Reach School, Kolkata, our teachers received specialized training to provide the care and education these children needed.

The vision of Srishti Management went beyond rehabilitation — it was about creating a secure, independent and dignified future for every child.

This led to the integration of functional academics and vocational training as an integral part of the curriculum.

Today, 55 specially-abled children are learning, growing and working toward a brighter future at DARE School.

Building a Community of Hope and Opportunity

DARE School paves the way for specially-abled children to lead independent, fulfilling lives and step confidently into the workforce through Shrishti’s Welfare Institutes. Pre-vocational training begins at the age of 16 to prepare them for placement in welfare units according to their abilities and aptitudes. Once they reach adulthood and are ready, they are assigned to their respective units.
